Please feel free to call Mandy and explore this. It is amazing the positive impact riding can have, even at a very, young age.

The majority of our horses are quarter horses. We also have thoroughbreds, warmbloods, palominos, and paints. Many have earned points in their respective breed associations. All of our horses are champions in our hearts.

How many horses does Stable Strides have?

We have approximately 20 exceptional horses. Some are kept at the stables and others are at another farm in Argyle, TX. These horse have acres and acres of fields to relax in. Many are brought to the stables daily, depending on the needs of specific riders. The care and happiness of our 4 legged coaches is of utmost importance to us.

What do volunteers do at SSF?

The main responsibilities of volunteers are to assist in grooming and tacking up horses, lead or side walk during lessons, help maintain equipment (clean tack) and basicly jump in wherever you're asked. No experience is necessary as we will train you. Not really comfortable with the horses? We would love help fund raising. Most importantly, bring your smiles and enthusiasm.
