Attire

"It ain't the clothes that make the cowboy/girl, it's the attitude and heart."

Riding helmets will be provided at SSF

Eventually most riders prefer to own their very own helmet.

Riders should dress appropriately for our Texas weather. If possible, try to wear long pants. Summer might mean shorts if necessary.

 

Please wear boots or sneakers for riding  (no sandals)

To Get Started

Contact us to make an appointment for a farm visit

 At the farm pick up our "Rider's Packet"

Have your doctor fill out the "Physician's Referral Form"

Return all completed forms to SSF and schedule a lesson time

Our weather can be challenging, We try to maintain our schedule but sometimes it is just too stormy or unpleasant to ride. Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure of the weather situation.

We understand life gets complicated! Please contact SSF as soon as possible if you are unable to make your scheduled lesson. Advance notice is so appreciated!

We know you are entrusting SSF with your special riders and their special abilities.
