Suzanne Sessums PT, DPT

Suzanne been involved with hippotherapy for over 20 years. She graduated from UTSW Medical Center with her Bachelor of Physical therapy degree in 1999. She graduate with her doctorate from UTMB Galveston in 2017. She is a CTRI PATH therapeutic riding instructor as well as American Hippotherapy Association level 2 clinician.

In addition to hippotherapy, she is a physical therapist in the school district, pediatric home health, hospital and surgery center. She has been published for research involving children with Cerebral Palsy and the effects of hippotherapy. She also has conducted a research study regarding the benefits of hippotherapy in Parkinson’s Disease. The results have been fantastic!!
